WE brought nothing into this world, we are from nothing - what is the meaning of that word? And that expression?"Nothingness" is perhaps not to mean here an absence or lacking of something, but both our creation and our final passing.Obviously, the simpler interpretation that - We begin without possessions, no status, no works or no knowledge - I think holds true in conjunction with my musings of the meaning of the word "nothingness".Perhaps the quote is simply telling us that at the end, we will have all our "things" taken away, our possessions will be thrown away or sold, our status will be lost, our works of creation gone and forgotten, even the things we learnt are likely to be lost in time.No matter what we accumulate during our lives, it will be lost after our death.But I still think this interpretation works with and reflects my more existential thoughts of “nothing is more real than nothing". Everything ELSE is transient!What firm lessons can we gleem?I fear only those from the simple interpretation ...Recognize that material wealth is transient.
